Request a Certificate of Current Professional Status

Note: Certificate of Current Professional Status replaces the former Certificate of Good Standing

There is a fee of €65 to request a Certificate of Current Professional Status. Please allow a minimum of three working days from the date of receipt of your written request and fee for your application to be processed. Doctors wishing to send a Certificate of Current Professional Status to the Medical Council of New Zealand or any Medical Board in Australia should request this to be sent directly.

Currently Registered Doctors

Previously Registered Doctors

If you were registered with the Medical Council in the past and wish to request a Certificate of Current Professional Status for that period, please download and complete the Certificate of Current Professional Status Request Form.pdf and send it along with the appropriate fee to;
