Registration Email Support

• Verification of Registration Certificates: Regulatory authorities and other relevant third parties can request verification of certificates issued by the Medical Council via email to: verifications@mcirl.ie.

Important Information 

• Certificates of Good Standing: Please note that we do not accept Certificates of Good Standing by post. These must be emailed directly from the relevant registration authority to cogs@mcirl.ie.
• Application Documentation: All other documentation must be uploaded via your online portal. Please do not send application documents by post unless you are a Category E applicant.
• Category E Applicants & Deliveries: If you are a Category E applicant, or if you are hand-delivering items or using a courier, please use the following address:

For queries that do not relate to registration or complaints, you can email the Medical Council at info@mcirl.ie and a member of our team will respond to your query.
