Certificate of Good Standing / Current Professional Status

Note: Certificate of Current Professional Status replaces the former Certificate of Good Standing

Medical practitioners can now apply for a certificate of current professional status online. A fee of €50 applies when requesting a Certificate of Current Professional Status.

If the competent authority to which you wish to have the certificate sent is not listed in the dropdown menu, please e-mail the full name, address and web address of the competent authority using our registration contact form 

Please note that the General Medical Council (GMC) require Certificates of Current Professional Status to be sent directly to them from the Medical Council to eliminate the need to verify them.  If you are required to provide a CCPS the GMC, you should ensure that you request it to be sent directly to them when requesting one.

Additional Information

• We do not issue Current Professional Status certificates by courier, and any such requests should be arranged and paid for directly by the Doctor.
