The Fitness to Practise Committee, following an inquiry found the practitioner guilty of professional misconduct and a contravention of the the Medical Practitioners Act, 2007 and following submission of its report, the Medical Council, at its meeting on 1st June 2011, decided to cancel the Practitioner's registration

The Council's decision was confirmed by the High Court on 25th July, 2011.
